Llewelyn: Yes, Kenneth, get girl in room. You can do it!
GLY: ;) {v} + :-)
kenhocar: me find a girl to bring into my room? that's VERY hard!! probably takes a long time!! maybe i should go find some hall friends to shape myself first =)
Llewelyn: Stop being a lightbulb then. Bring a girl into your room too!! More girls = more fun!!
kenhocar: i can see about the giant light bulb...very uncomfortable!! it was bad enough with me in my room while my roommate brought his girlfriend along!! btw...that's the exact experience of having long driving trips!!
Matthew: why do your comments all have weird html attached to it?
Matthew: like the 'wastelands of the stormy side of Mordor'.... i like that phrase, so descriptive. Yea and i know how uncomfortable one feels when being a lightbulb...
Llewelyn: Not supermath, just normal maths. And yes - normal maths is still very hard here.
Queenie(kendogurl115: btw did you do like super pure math in the US?? just came back from Sping blossom trip updatung my brain withe everyone....
Queenie(kendogurl115: *looks at picture lightbulb turnson* oooooooo it's the very very very smart kris -_-" hahahah yea i know i knew you and matthew during first aif in KGV.....o yea good luck in what ever test you just have...i got lotsa hwk and applications to do now...
GLY: Sorry for not calling, but I'm not doing well either. :-P Good job on the 98% and just do your best! Go! Go! Go!!! :-D :-D :-D Take care! {v} + :-)
Llewelyn: Thanks for your advice!
Streakmarine: if you forget what to play in a certain side variation you should know what your general goals are and can play in a logical fashion. To start with just pick one opening for white and two openings for black (one against e4, one against d4).
Streakmarine: explain clearly the idea of each opening (in words). Memorising the main line of an opening is quite easy, but it's the many branching variations at each stage make it difficult. That's what you need to learn the ideas behind each opening so that even
Streakmarine: The thing about chess books is that there are alot of them out there, but each library only contains a few and thus will have their own 'unique' collection, so to speak. I'd suggest opening books that are not to broad, but also
Streakmarine: Um Kris haven't you ever tried Starbucks in HK? It's alot more expensive! Oh and thanks for your support!
Dom: I know kris..I think it's worth it if u do learn something. Best of luck in mid-terms mate!! =]
Llewelyn: Doesn't matter, thanks anyway. You can look at my profile on the left to decide if I'm the Kris you know.
Queenie(kendogurl115: errrrmmmm if you were in KGV i think i'll know you -_-" are you too many Kris...*grumble* the katie kris? or the... *scrtches head* *lost memory*
Queenie (Kendogurl11: I know there is one in harvard... (that's where all those super players come from...they are very good at techniques UC kendo is more competeitve more violent.....
Queenie (Kendogurl11: where in US, well you can go up and check the US federation kendo website i know there's one in UCLA (i've been invited to play there once) not much in LA tho usually they are in the UC's uni's
kenhocar: i want pretty ice cream cones!! nobody can follow that pyramid!! i'm getting quite lost about these "why" and "why not"!!!
Llewelyn: So how would YOU answer Francine's question, Daniel?
Streakmarine: Haha...you are always the perspective man
Llewelyn: "why not" is only an atitute towards "why". The words "why not" has one million everyday meanings, so it's only as meaningful as the way we use it.
Llewelyn: If you keep asking why, eventually you arrive at a fact that we don't know the reason to, so we assume to be true. Whether that constitutes the belief in faith is debatable.
Llewelyn: Asking "why not" simply means why your proposition doesn't work. I don't need to tell you what works. "Why" only means I'm telling you how it works. I'm not saying anything about whether anything else you propose works or not.
GLY: Eeek! I just realized a typo - I meant "the answer would be asking for another answer*"
GLY: Wait. Forgot to say something - if "why not" is asking "why", then the answer would be asking for another asking. :-P And what would your answer be to the "neverending" **why**? Does it hurt to keep asking "why"?
GLY: Is "why not", not asking "why? :-P I.e. isn't asking "why not" simply asking "why" again? {v} + :-) p.s. Hope your midterms were "OK"~~ ;-)
